Slack's native MCP support lets you connect Skyp directly to your Slack workspace. Once connected, you can manage campaigns, pull analytics, and work with contacts without leaving Slack.
For an overview of all supported MCP clients, see Using the Agents & API Dashboard. If you're looking to connect via Claude instead, see Using Skyp with Claude.
Before you start
A Skyp account with your company profile set up (Company settings) — required before creating campaigns via MCP.
A Slack workspace with MCP support enabled.
Connecting Skyp to Slack
In Slack, open your workspace settings and navigate to the AI integrations or MCP Servers area.
Add a new MCP server and enter the Skyp MCP URL:
https://api.skyp.ai/mcpSlack will redirect you to a Skyp authorization page — review the requested permissions and click Allow.
Once authorized, Skyp tools will be available to AI features within your Slack workspace.
The exact location of MCP settings in Slack may vary depending on your Slack plan and version. Refer to Slack's documentation if you can't find the MCP Servers option.
What you can do
Once Skyp is connected, Slack's AI can interact with your Skyp account. Examples:
Campaign updates: Ask for a summary of active campaigns or check reply rates without leaving Slack.
Quick analytics: Pull performance stats from Analytics mid-conversation.
Contact management: Look up contact details or check do-not-contact status from Contacts.
Campaign creation: Walk through building and finalizing a campaign entirely within a Slack AI conversation.
Things to know
Company profile required: Set yours up at Company settings before creating campaigns.
CTAs are required: You must add at least one Call to Action using
create_new_ctabefore callinggenerate_campaign_strategyorfinalize_campaign.Active campaigns are locked: To edit a live campaign, go to Campaigns, pause it first, make your changes, then resume.
OAuth connection: Skyp connects via OAuth — no API key is needed. If you ever need to revoke access, go to Integrations in Skyp.
