Connecting your LinkedIn account lets Skyp send connection requests and direct messages on your behalf as part of your outreach campaigns. The connection is set up through a secure, hosted authentication flow — no cookie hunting or manual steps required.
Before you start
You need an active LinkedIn account.
You must be logged in to Skyp.
If your LinkedIn account has two-factor authentication enabled, that's fine — the Quick Connect flow handles it automatically.
How to connect your LinkedIn account
In Skyp, go to Integrations in the left sidebar.
Find the LinkedIn section and click Connect LinkedIn.
In the dialog that opens, click Connect via LinkedIn. A secure sign-in window will open as a centered popup.
Sign in with your LinkedIn credentials. If prompted for two-factor authentication, complete it as usual.
Once you've signed in, Skyp automatically detects the connection — the dialog will close and show a success message. You don't need to click anything or close any windows.
What Skyp can do with your LinkedIn connection
Once connected, Skyp can:
Send connection requests to contacts in your LinkedIn campaigns.
Send direct messages to existing LinkedIn connections as part of a follow-up sequence.
Skyp acts on your behalf using your LinkedIn account, so all activity appears to come from you directly.
Disconnecting LinkedIn
To remove the integration, go to Integrations and find the LinkedIn card. If you're connected, you'll see a Disconnect button.
Important: Disconnecting immediately removes Skyp's access to your LinkedIn account. Any active LinkedIn campaigns will be paused and stop sending until you reconnect.
Reconnecting or switching accounts
If your LinkedIn session expires or you want to connect a different account, go to Integrations. If Skyp detects a connection issue, you'll see a reconnect warning on the LinkedIn card. Click Reconnect LinkedIn and follow the same steps above.
After reconnecting, any campaigns that were paused due to the connection issue will remain paused — you can resume them manually from LinkedIn Campaigns.
Troubleshooting
The sign-in window didn't open: Your browser may be blocking popups from Skyp. Allow popups for app.skyp.ai and try again.
Sign-in failed: Make sure you're using the correct LinkedIn credentials. If you use single sign-on (SSO) via Google or Apple for LinkedIn, use that same method in the popup.
The dialog is stuck on "Waiting for you to finish signing in…": Complete the sign-in in the popup window. If the popup closed before you finished, click Cancel and try again.
You received an email that your LinkedIn account disconnected: See LinkedIn Connection Health: What Happens When Your Session Expires for steps on reconnecting and resuming your campaigns.
